The Madison American Legion Post main Building is CLOSED for renovations.  We will not be accepting new meeting groups or rentals for the foreseeable future.

The Madison American Legion Post, located on Thrift Road, may be rented for community and private functions, such as birthday parties, family reunions, wedding receptions, club meetings, retirement parties, office meetings, or other private parties.     

The Home has a large room that can accommodate up to 200 people.  Rental includes the use of its tables and 150 chairs.   White twinkle lights have been installed along each wooden ceiling beam which enhances your special occasion.  Least expensive place in downtown Madison to rent for what you get!

RENTAL EXCLUSIONS:   

• Please note, we rental of the facility to individuals or organizations  who plan on selling tickets for entry to the general public requires permission from EXCOM. 
• No rentals starting the Thursday prior thru the Monday after all "Event" weekends.  This includes the monthly breakfasts, catfish suppers and all Legion sponsored fundraisers.  This period may be longer or shorter as required.

      FULL DAY RENTAL (From 8:00 am to 1:00 am) 

          FEE: $600 without ABC License plus $300 security deposit = TOTAL DUE: $900 

                  $700 with ABC License plus $300 security deposit = TOTAL DUE: $1000

*ABC license is required when alcohol is served, renter obtains from ABC Board and must 

show proof of your license to serve alcohol 3 days prior to event. See contract for more

*NO EARLY SET UP OR LATE DEPARTURES.  You will need to plan your rental selection to allow for set up/decorating and clean up.

If there is an entry on your desired date for an event at the post, it would probably not be available for rental.  However, the lack of an entry does not mean that it is definitely available for that date. Get your reservation in early to guarantee your spot.
